IP PARTS

IP Parts Website Development Welshpool - Responsive Web Design Perth

Independent Parts (IP Parts), an ambitious truck and transport parts company, experienced transformative digital growth in 2023, largely attributed to the strategic marketing efforts of Beyond Corporate Marketing (BCM). This case study outlines the pivotal role BCM played in enhancing IP Parts’ market presence, leading up to its acquisition by Maxiparts for $27 million.

Situation Analysis

Initially, IP Parts had a minimal digital footprint, with a social media following under 200 and an outdated website. Recognising the need for a digital overhaul, IP Parts engaged BCM for their expertise in digital marketing and brand revitalization.

Strategies and Implementation

Social Media Revitalisation

BCM implemented a robust social media strategy focused on Facebook and LinkedIn. They increased posting frequency to three times a week, incorporating a mix of high-engagement content. This approach expanded IP Parts’ following to over 3,500 Facebook follower within 12 months, significantly boosting online engagement over the two platforms.

Website Redesign

The company’s website underwent a major redesign, transforming from an outdated layout to a modern, user-friendly interface. Key features included sleek animations, an extensive and interactive brand listing and integrated videos, enhancing user experience and brand perception.

Branding Overhaul

BCM spearheaded a complete branding refresh for IP Parts. This included updating the logo and aligning all branding materials to reflect the new, modern design.

Weekly Flyers & Ads

A strategic move by BCM was the introduction of weekly flyers to be used in their digital campaigns and in their stores. These flyers were instrumental in generating substantial sales, tapping into both new and existing customer bases.

Another aspect that BCM introduced was weekly Facebook Ads. These ads not only resulted in a net audience growth of 3300+ followers, but also a massive amount of engagments and exposure.

Results

The cumulative impact of these strategies was profound:

  • Social media following increased from under 200 to over 3,500.
  • High engagement rates on social media platforms.
  • A modernized website with improved user engagement.
  • A cohesive and updated brand identity.
  • Significant sales growth attributed to marketing materials like weekly flyers.

Conclusion

BCM’s comprehensive digital marketing and branding strategies over an 18-month period played a crucial role in raising IP Parts’ market profile. This enhanced visibility and business performance drew the attention of Maxiparts, leading to a lucrative acquisition deal worth $27 million. BCM’s success story with IP Parts stands as a testament to the power of strategic digital marketing and brand management in today’s competitive business environment.

FILTERS PLUS

Filters Plus WA is an independently run and family-owned commercial and industrial filtration business based in Kewdale, Western Australia. Beyond Corporate Marketing has been working with Filters Plus for over 10 years, from building their website to handeling their social media platforms. In this time we have generated over $3,000,000 dollars in extra sales!

Situation Analysis

Filters Plus had no online sales channels, and outdated website and although they were growing, they had no fundamental marketing strategies in place. After our initial meetings with the owner, we laid out an advanced plan for growth.

Strategies and Implementation

Data Collection

One of the main aspects we uncovered with our initial discussion was that Filters Plus’s customers relied heavyly on the sales team to cross reference the right filter product for their application. Using advanced techniques and supplier negotiations, we collected enough data for Filters Plus to be the ONLY independant filters distributor with their own cross reference look up database.

Website Redesign

The website redesign and development was a huge undertaking. We built and implimented their custom Cross Reference Database look up system, a vehicle lookup System, a client worksheet system and linked them all to their new E-Commerce system, with over 15,000 products.

Online Sales Channels

After their website project went live, we also suggested and implemented a sales channel with eBay. This included identifying and creating a suite of products for the retail sector.

Rebranding

Filters Plus WA launched in the early 1990’s and their branding was outdated to say the least (They had a cartoon charater for their logo). We created a modern branding breif with a logo that not only modernised their business but used negative space to play on their brand name.

Results

The cumulative impact of these strategies was profound:

  • Social media following increased from under 0 to over 250.
  • High engagement rates on social media platforms.
  • A modernised advanced E-commerce website with improved user engagement and sales.
  • A cohesive and updated brand identity.
  • A whole new sales channel was created above and beyond their traditional sales, which has generated over $3,000,000 in sales to date.

Conclusion

Beyond Corporate Marketing’s comprehensive digital marketing and advanced website development, over an 5 year period played a crucial role in raising Filters Plus WA’s profile and generating more wealth for their investment.
